Day to day job roles
When on site, a typical day for Ryan consists of carrying out Fixed Wire Testing and completing certificates for clients. During his days in the office, Ryan assists the Operations Manager with quality checking electrical test certificates and managing Intersafe’s team of engineers.
Ryan’s other responsibilities include producing electrical schematic drawings to ensure that projects can be carried out seamlessly by the team.

Ryan started his career at Intersafe as a PAT Testing Engineer before progressing to be a Fixed Wire Testing Engineer. Ryan’s dedication and additional training at work have enabled him to advance into a senior role where he oversees the work of our engineers.
During his time at Intersafe, Ryan has received training and achieved the following qualifications:
- City & Guilds 2377 Portable Appliance Testing
- City & Guilds 2382 17th and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2394 Initial Verification & Testing
- City & Guilds 2395 Periodic Inspection & Testing
What is your favourite project you’ve worked on?
“Roehampton University 2013. It was a very large project but rewarding because it taught me a lot during the early part of my fixed wiring career.”
