Day to day job roles
Charlotte’s everyday roles include working towards weekly sales targets, such as KPI calls and appointments, plus training new members of the Business Development Team. She also maintains the CRM database, assists the marketing team to grow brand awareness and arranges site surveys and client meetings.
One of Charlotte’s key job roles is to call companies from the CRM database to build a pipeline of warm leads. In the Sales Manager’s absence, Charlotte oversees the department, managing the team, using stats to drive performance and calculating prices for project proposals.

Career progression at Intersafe
After a year in Intersafe’s business development team, Charlotte was promoted to Team Leader to provide support for the Sales Manager. She is still able to work the same part-time hours, but now enjoys a more diverse role with greater responsibility. Charlotte has been able to expand her skillset whilst maintaining flexible hours to fit in with her commitments outside of work.
During her time at Intersafe, Charlotte has received the following training:
- CRM systems
- Sales training – including a company induction and detailed training from engineers to learn about the services Intersafe provides
- PAT testing course – a certified course with both theoretical and practical training
