PAT Testing

Your job role:

• Carrying out PAT Testing according to IEE guidelines
• Delivering high-quality service levels to clients
• Day-to-day management of clients’ testing requirements
• Effective communication with internal senior management
• Undertaking health and safety paperwork
• Working on your own or within a team
• Permanent, employed PAYE status

You must have:

• City & Guilds 2377 or equivalent (but full training is available for the right candidate) 
• Full current driving license
• Good interpersonal skills
• Be open to flexible working hours (days and evenings) 
• Experience in high volume PAT Testing is preferable 

The ideal candidate will:

• Have knowledge of the latest In-service Inspection & Testing guidelines

Company van

We know that a good company vehicle can make all the difference to your job, so all of our vans are less than three years old with extra features including air conditioning, electric windows and a Bluetooth touchscreen. You’ll also receive a fuel card and vehicle management service.

Staying away

If our employees work away from home, we make sure their stay is as comfortable as possible. You’ll stay in Premier Inn hotels and receive a £20 meal allowance per day to spend as you wish.

Uniform

We’ll provide a full branded uniform for you, including Dickies polo shirts and trousers, hi-vis waterproof jackets, comfortable safety trainers and a softshell jacket. Our uniform is designed with comfort in mind, even in challenging environments.

Training & upskilling

We provide full training and resources to help you develop your skills. From IPAF training to the latest edition electrical qualifications and regulations books, Intersafe will help you progress your career.

Best equipment

As an Intersafe employee, you’ll receive the best equipment for the job. For PAT Testing, we currently use the industry-leading Seaward Apollo 600, but we’re always reviewing and renewing our equipment to stay ahead of the curve.

Full site survey

As we only undertake work for large establishments, we always carry out a full site survey before we quote. You’ll be given full details from the survey before you attend the site using the best job sheet software in the industry.

Your dedicated manager

Are your managers always changing? At Intersafe, you’ll have one manager for all of your requirements. This makes your job easier and ensures that decisions are made quickly.

Large jobs only

Majority of the sites are larger than 1,500 plus and we don’t work on multiple sites per day. This means that you won’t have to travel to multiple locations, just for one day’s work.
